Maternity Underwear

Now that you’ve got that cute little black maternity dress for the holidays, the question is: do you know what you’re wearing underneath? If the answer is no, then you must get a pair of SPANX ‘Power Mama’ maternity underwear.
These suckers keep all your jiggly bits in check, provide support to your belly and lower back, and still allow you to breathe. They’re much more flattering and comfortable than a thong, and you won’t have to worry about those darn VPLs (visible panty lines).
Choose from nude or black.

Pay $66 for a nursing top? I know it’s a lot to spend on sleepwear, but I still have the Lace Trim Belabumbum Nursing Chemise I wore three years ago when I was nursing my son. Now I’m wearing it for my 17-month old, and considering all the times it’s been in the wash and the countless times I’ve hooked and unhooked the clasps to breastfeed, it still looks and feels just as good as the first time I wore it.

The empire waist means you can start wearing it throughout your pregnancy, and it’s available in black and cream. But if you want more color, check out the new heather gray and hot pink combination that looks fun and young—the complete opposite of how you can feel when you’re getting four hours of sleep.

There are different variations of the maternity tummy sleeve, but they all basically do the same thing: they let you wear your pre-pregnancy pants longer and your still-too-big maternity pants sooner. The big difference is the price—this one from Motherhood Maternity is only $17.
Wear it pulled up as an extra layer when it gets cooler or fold it down for less coverage. But the best way to wear it is after baby is born to cover your belly when you’re breastfeeding.

Planning on breastfeeding? Add Glamourmom’s Nursing Bra Tummy Control Long Tank to your list of must-haves.
In addition to the built-in bra that provides easy nursing access and good support, the new tank also has an inner layer designed to help you get your pre-baby body back much like the popular postpartum abdominal binders that cost anywhere up to $60.
It’s a snug fit and getting that baby on isn’t the easiest in the world, but once it’s on, it stays put and cinches you in. And you can totally feel the extra support when you’re breastfeeding…it corrects your posture, so feeding sessions don’t have to be such a pain in the back.
Price: $49
