Have you seen this collection of creative–and hilarious!–pics dad Jason Lee took of his daughter? We’re guessing Jason is pretty good with Photoshop, but we think his idea is the perfect starting point for an awesome Mother’s Day gift.
There’s probably not a group of people more obsessed with pics of kids than moms, so how awesome would it be to steal some of Jason’s ideas, swap in your own kids and create an album for mom this Mother’s Day? I’d love it!

On the one day that’s set aside to honor moms, it’s easy to get consumed in indulging yourself. But this year, Nicole Richie wants us to think of someone else. Who? The thousands of moms who have trouble providing basic necessities for their little ones.
To help these moms, Nicole created an exclusive House of Harlow 1960 necklace that will benefit Baby2Baby. The charity supplies Los Angeles families in need with baby gear and clothing and reaches over 50,000 families each year. For each necklace purchased, 20% of the proceeds will be donated to Baby2Baby.

When is Mother’s day 2012? That would be May 13, ladies. Which means you have a little over one month to start dropping some not-so-subtle hints about what you’d like this year.
A good starting point? This pic of new dad Jay-Z leaving Jacob & Co. Now unless you’ve never heard a rap song in your entire life, you know Jacob is famous for his diamonds. So if diamonds are what you’d like for the big day, casually show dad this pic and say something like, “Hey, isn’t it so nice Jay-Z decided to get Beyonce some diamonds for Mother’s Day?” And then maybe you can show him these pretty diamond necklaces, too. Hey, we said not-so-subtle.
