It’s September 13, which means the day has finally come. Missoni for Target is was in stores, but there’s still plenty online. From cute kids’ clothes to dreamy kitchen goods and housewares, you have to shop fast. The collection was in such high demand at 5 o’clock this morning that Target shut down the website. It’s back up now, but we’re not sure for how long.
I trekked to my local Target store this morning to see the collection in person, and let me tell you the home department is where it’s at. The clothes are fine, but the Missoni for Target bedding and all of the serving dishes and mugs for the kitchen are really the best buys.

I’ve never been a fan of wallpaper. It’s too big of a commitment, and if you’ve ever moved into a place with wallpaper that didn’t go with your decor–ok, it was just plain ugly–you’ll agree that taking it down can be a big pain in the ass. But not these WallCandy Arts wallpaper. No, ma’am.

Last night Target hosted an amazing party in NYC to celebrate their upcoming Missoni for Target collection. I didn’t go, but that didn’t stop me from stalking people who did. I couldn’t stop looking at all the Twitpics from last night’s fete!

I’m the first to cringe when I see an animal trophy head hanging on someone’s wall, but I have to say I’m loving these new papier-mache heads from Dwell Studio. You read that right…papier-mache animal heads. Amazing, right?
Any one of them would look chic in a safari-themed nursery (my favorite is the gazelle), but they’re much more than just another pretty face; each one is handmade by a non-profit in Haiti that uses only recycled materials.
