It’s almost over! The final episode of Teen Mom airs next week, but before we say goodbye we’ve got two more exclusive with Farrah Abraham. This week, Farrah said goodbye to her daughter, Sophia, and we got the inside scoop on whether or not she has regrets.

What was going through your head in the days before Sophia was about to leave with your mom?
In my mind, I knew I had to have Sophia spend time with my family back home so I could make sure I got good grades and adjusted to living in a new area. I knew Sophia needed more attention, so I was sad for her to go but I knew Sophia and I needed the space. It always gets sadder as the departure day comes.

Do you think Sophia understood you two were going to be apart? How was she handling it?
Yes, Sophia knew we were going to be apart. We did phone calls and Skype a lot to make the time pass quickly.

People have commented that you shouldn’t have laughed when Sophia hit you–why didn’t you reprimand her?
Well, no one knows my child better than me. I know that Sophia likes to randomly smack because she thinks it’s funny and I personally think it’s funny, as well. She’s my sweet sour patch kid.

Was it hardest when Sophia first left or did it get harder the longer she was gone?
The longer she was away, the harder it got for me. I would start crying more without her. She’s my happiness and I missed her so much as the days went by.

Do you have any regrets about letting Sophia go?
I think it was a learning experience letting Sophia go back to Omaha for a month. She enjoyed the family time, but I would never do it again.

How are you feeling now that your Teen Mom journey is about to come to an end?
I’m happy to be done with Teen Mom. I hope many teens have learned from my story, and my fans can continue to watch Sophia and I grow up past Teen Mom in our future projects.

  • Honey, get real, the only reason you sent her away was because you wanted to be with a guy. You act so desperate and you are always short tempered with your daughter. Grow up and raise your kid properly. She’s not a puppy you can get rid of when you get sick of her. What kind of mother lets a near stranger put her kid to bed and be alone with a toddler? You need to keep a better eye on your own child and you need to quit being so desperate for a man that you are willing to put your kid in harms way.

  • ugh, you know what, at least Farrah has the luxury of being able to send her child off to relatives for a month. So entitled and pretentious. Give me a break.

  • I don’t understand how her being gone for 1 month would make such a huge difference in your education. College isn’t one month long. So when you got her back, you’re still in school, and she’s there, making it more difficult to do whatever homework you have to do. That just confused me. It seemed like she was just at the age(2) where she was pushing boundaries and you got tired of it.

  • I agree with Karli. Surely you sending her away was NOT because of school. College surely isn’t only a month long and I can’t see how that short amount of time away would benefit your school work. I call BS. And of course she would laugh and think Sophia slapping her was funny. She too is disrespectful to her own parents and thinks behavior like that is nothing to worry about. She’ll be sorry when Sophia is an out of control teen. And another thing, why is it that Bentley seems to be the ONLY child on that show progressing as he should (and they’re all the same age)? He speaks well and in complete sentences and yet Sophia can BARELY say simple words like hot dog, milk, etc. Oh, I may know why, because they always want to shove that stupid ass bink in her mouth whenever she does want to talk or say something. Or are pushing her away saying how they can’t be bothered by her. Not to mention the baby talk Farrah’s mom is always speaking to Sophia in. It’s crazy. These people ALL need to get a clue.

  • OMG People are always so hard on Farrah! Her child’s father was gone before the baby was even born. People need to remember that. Let’s see you put a perfect smile on for everyone while you look at your child that looks JUST like that person that you miss. It’s obvious Farrah is just going through a whole lot. I think she’s doing a good job for the circumstance. I’m sure that’s hard as hell for your child’s dad to never have met your baby.

  • for a child his mother is god, the education they receive today will make them the people of tomorrow. Be teen mom is not easy, because you have to sacrifice many things, but a child is the most important in the world. So I think Farrah is doing she can and we should not push it, because too much difficult she has it for always talk about her A little respect please
