There’s a royal baby on the way! After months and months of rumors and speculation, the royal couple have finally revealed that Kate Middleton is pregnant!
According to a statement released earlier today, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
The statement went on to reveal that Kate Middleton has been hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum, otherwise known as extreme, persistent nausea and vomiting (aka morning sickness). “As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”
Here’s wishing the duchess a speedy recovery and a wonderful pregnancy. Can’t wait to see all the cute maternity clothes she wears. Congrats to the parents-to-be!
