We’ve all heard of women with weird cravings during pregnancy. For Jessica Simpson, it’s cantaloupe with salt. Beyonce? Ketchup. While you can say both are a little weird, they’re nothing compared to Brit mom-to-be Alison Brierley’s cravings for roadkill. Yes, roadkill. As in animals killed on the road by passing motorists.

She tells Metro UK that she’s eaten rabbits, pigeons, deer and pheasants and prefers it to regular meat because ‘It’s more gamey than other meat’ and she loves the taste. She also says, ‘I also don’t have to feel guilty about eating it because I know it’s had a completely free range and natural life.’
Sorry, but aren’t there health risks involved with eating dead animals rotting on the side of the road? I mean, how long were they laying there before she got her hands on them? And can’t she go to a market or butcher that sells free range meat? Anyone else think this is creepy?
What about you? Did you have any weird cravings when you were pregnant? Anyone out there crave roadkill? Share in the comments below.
