Actress Paula Patton recently went on Chelsea Lately and dished about her fair-haired baby boy who takes after husband Robin Thicke. That’s her cutie above and on the show, Patton joked, “They think we’ve adopted a Russian child.” It’s either that or people assume that she’s his nanny!
Yikes, right? I feel like I would freak out on someone who asked me if I was my child’s nanny. How rude?
If you’re in the same boat as Paula Patton and tired of answering those silly questions, check out this funny baby tee that says “She’s my mommy, not the nanny.” Save your breath and let this tee do all the talking for you.

As the mother of two blue-eyed boys, one blond and one redhead, I often get the statement that their colouring must come from their father. I just smile now as I don’t want to go into the details of explaining that I am actually a reddish blonde who chooses to dye my hair dark brown, and that I do indeed have blue eyes. If they want to notice my beautiful babies before me, hey that’s OK. My boys are gorgeous regardless of where it comes from!

I have not been mistaken for the nanny but i have been called the sister. Im only 5 ft so people alwasy assume im her sister. I honestly would like it better if you asked my age instead of taking a guess. But i always laugh at ignorance

I have been mistaken for the nanny many times! It happened more when I just had my son (before my daughter was born). My kids have brown hair and brown eyes just like me, but they are fair skinned and I have brown skin. The first time I was a little shocked, but then I got used to it.

Whenever the father is White, the child is very White-looking. This is almost always the case. Look at Gabriella Beauvais, singer Maya, actress Stacey Dash, Eartha Kitt’s daughter (Shapiro) and the list goes on and on.
