In case you missed this recall (we did!), Nap Nanny and the CPSC recalled more than 30,000 Nap Nanny Infant Recliners. Here are the details:
If you purchased a first generation Nap Nanny–that is, you purchased yours before 8/15/09 and there are no Velcro straps inside the cover–you are eligible for an $80 credit toward the new Nap Nanny.
If you have the newer Nap Nanny–and you do if you purchased it after August 2009 and there are Velcro straps inside the cover–you’re urged to visit napnanny.com/recall to review the proper way to use the Nap Nanny and warnings related to improper use.
This recall was initiated because of parents using the Nap Nanny inside cribs and on elevated surfaces, which is strongly discouraged due the risk of entrapment and infants falling over the sides.
