I’ve got a hunch on why viruses seem to make their way through playgroup faster than my dog can eat through a stolen hamburger: the shared sippy cup. Us moms are all sucked in to buying the cup with bright prints and cute characters, making it hard to tell whose cup is whose. That’s why I’m a newly converted fan of the new insulated spill-proof cups from Munchkin. Dubbed the Active Animals line, every cup has a critter doing something sporty (a nod to getting your kids moving). More importantly, each cup has a space for you to write your child’s name. So even if the kids can’t read it, at least the moms in the playgroup know when they’ve grabbed the wrong cup. These new Munchkin cups also get points for being BPA free and based on our shake tests, pretty darn spill-proof.
