I know you love your little one, but while you’re sitting there patiently holding that paci in his/her mouth there are dishes to be done, clothes to be laundered and hair to be washed. So free yourself up and keep baby happily sucking on that pacifier with a Pacimal, an adorable stuffed animal the holds baby’s paci in place.

I know, it’s hilarious. I laughed out loud when I saw it, too. But it’s also pretty genius. Before your baby gets the hang of holding the pacifer in his/her mouth, just prop the Pacimal on your baby’s chest and let him suck to his heart’s content.

And it works for older babies as well. Because a stuffed animal is a lot easier to grab than a small, oddly-shaped pacifier, just place the Pacimal in the car seat or on a blanket with your baby and he can reach for it when he’s ready for his pacifier.

Now I know some babies (or their mamas) are loyal to certain paci brands or styles, so you can purchase a paci adapter for just $2 and any pacifier will work with the Pacimal.

Choose from a monkey, a hippo, a dog, a rhino or my favorite, Janet the Giraffe.

Price: $20
