I did tons of research before deciding on baby bottles, but when it came to a sippy cup, not so much. One day my daughter just stopped wanting her bottle and I had to make a quick decision in a drugstore with limited options. My first pick (which will remain nameless) was a huge bomb—it leaked like crazy and my daughter could never get anything out of it. I fared much better with my second pick, the NUK Learner Cup. I’ve been hooked on NUK’s sippy cups ever since.
But checking out all the other kids at my daughter’s preschool and I’ve noticed they all have the Foogo sippy cup by Thermos. Apparently, it’s super leak-proof and keeps liquids crazy cold. It’s also happens to be $15, which is more than double what I paid for my NUK cup.
What about you? Have you tried the Foogo sippy cup? Is it really worth it?

My family likes the Nuby line of products made by luv n care. They have a great transitional sippy cup to wean from the bottle (the 10 oz Nuby No Spill Sippy Gripper Cup). They also make replacement spouts for these and several other of their cups. They are BPA free, reasonably priced and fit small hands. It’s great that the cups can be reused instead of being thrown away because of the replacement spouts.
