My daughter is starting to walk, which means she’ll soon need shoes that are sturdier than the soft-soled slipper type she’s been wearing. Looking at options for the summer, though, I’m amazed at the price discrepancy in seemingly similar shoes. Is it because they’re designer or is it because they’re better for your child’s development? Or is it a little bit of both?
