Last week, I purchased my first new pair of sneakers in over two years. I’m more of a ballet flat mom myself, but now that my daughter is running everywhere I needed something a little more supportive and sporty.
Thankfully, I work right next to the SheFinds editors and overheard them talking about how all the sneakers in their guide were selling like crazy. One look and it’s easy to see why: they’re really cute. Even if you’re not a sneaker person (like me), there are sneakers you’ll actually feel trendy wearing.
I decided on these Superga Cortina sneakers ($51). I figure they’ll look cute with summer shorts and I love that they are machine-washable.
If you’re still not sure about taking the full plunge into the world of sneakers, consider these Bensimon tennis flats ($57). They actually look a lot like ballet flats, but the rubber soles offer more traction.
And if you already live in sneakers, you’ll die for these super cute Cole Haan kicks ($101). They have the Nike Air technology so they’re amazingly comfortable and the patent details make them a little more special than most others.
