Cashmere Baby Blanket: Is It Really Worth It?

When I was pregnant, I didn’t splurge on much, but there were a few big buys that I don’t regret even in hindsight. My Citizens of Humanity maternity jeans are at the top of that list and my daughter’s cashmere baby blanket is a close second.

I actually scored the blanket on sale at a sample sale, but even still it was well over $100. My daughter didn’t really use it much–in part, because I kept it under lock and key given how expensive it was–but I’m still happy I have it. It reminds me of my daughter and the excitement I felt waiting for her to arrive. I fully intend on keeping it until my daughter has a child who I can pass it down to.

Be honest with me. though: am I crazy for spending so much on a baby blanket? Did you buy a cashmere baby blanket? If not, what baby blanket did you buy?
