Any mom who’s ever transitioned her toddler to self-feeding knows it’s a messy process. At times, it seems like more food makes it into the crevices underneath your little one’s neck and belly than actually in your baby’s mouth.

To keep messes at bay, there are awesome bibs with pockets that collect all the spillage. Bumkins’ SuperBib is one of the best out there–it’s waterproof, stain-resistant, machine washable and pvc-, vinyl and phthalate-free. Don’t expect to pay regular bib prices for the SuperBib, though. One SuperBib is $7.

So, would you pay $7 for a single bib? What about a SuperBib? If you own a SuperBib, is it really worth it? Share your thoughts in the comments.

  • YES! A thousand times, yes! We have three of these, and at lease 15 other, more traditional bibs. The ‘other’ bibs seldom get used, the Bumkins bibs are cycled through on a regular basis. They wash well, repel watermelon and catch dropped peas. The most notable feature other than the crumb pocket is the adjustable velcro that fastens on the SIDE – brilliant, and absolutely worth it.

  • I didn’t buy it at first, but after a dozen mildewed bibs, I decided to give it a try. We simply rinse and hang to dry! They’re absolutely worth every penny!

  • I love this bib! I have tried some others with my second child, but they are too stiff or small or stain too easily. These bibs are the best. They are a good size, reisst stains, and cleaning them is easy. Also, they do not irritate my baby’s neck.

  • Maybe I’m crazy, but $7 isn’t completely over the top for this bib. It’s certainly been worth it for our toddler. It’s really easy to clean, and even tomato sauce hasn’t discoloured it. We only have one so far, but I am certainly picking up another few!

  • We bought these in a 3 pack and use every them every day! Easy to clean, never stain, great for traveling (they are flexible). Plus, these bibs never bother my baby’s sensitive skin.

  • Totally worth it!!!! I have 3 of these and want more. They are thin, but waterproof and keep my little one cleaner than any other bib I’ve tried. I love how it is thicker around the shoulders, too. We just rinse and hang to dry.

  • I have bought 3 or 4 of these bibs and I LOVE them! I have tried many others but these are the best of the best. They are thin so after my son eats, I rinse it off in the sink and it dries super fast. Every few days I just toss it in the wash. Not only that but it isn’t so stiff that I feel like it’s rubbing my son’s chin raw. Awesome and worth every penny. I would probably pay double (maybe).
