What: Serif Digital Scrapbook Artist
Why: I’m always impressed by my friends who take the time to scrapbook, documenting family trips and their kids’ every milestone in beautiful albums with pretty papers and stickers. Maybe I’m missing the crafty gene, but I just can’t seem to get scrapbooking.
I can, however, click and drag like the best of them, and that’s why I love the Digital Scrapbook Artist from Serif. This easy to use software lets you create so many interesting, layered pages with all of the backgrounds, borders, embellishments and effects you could ever want. They really look just as good as, if not better than, handmade scrapbook pages. Once you’ve completed your album you can either print it or share it with friends online. 
Playing with this software is so much fun and slightly addicting. Whether you’re an advanced graphic artist, or a novice like me, you will have a hard time stepping away from your computer once you get started. The image on the right is just one example of what you can create.
