imageWhat: slotRadio by Sansa

Why: While I do have a fondness for gadgets, I don’t have an iPod. I just don’t have the time, energy and cash to search for and download songs. I know I’d spend more time setting it up than listening to it, so really what’s the point?

Sansa’s slotRadio was made for me. It’s small but sturdy and has great sound. But best of all, there’s no software, no hours in front of the computer and it’s really easy to use, just a couple of buttons.

The “radio” comes preloaded with a digital card with 1000 Billboard songs on playlists including rock, country, alternative and pop and mixes to “Chill Out” and “Work Out.” I can view the song titles on the display and zip around from U2 to The Killers, Beastie Boys, Shania Twain…you name it.  It’s perfect for the supermarket, beach, walking, waiting etc. Techie or non-techie moms will love it.

Price: $99 includes the radio, SD card with 1000 songs, ear buds, USB cable, AC adapter, shipping
