You may be growing larger by the day, but have no fear: You will never, ever have to resort to elastic-waist pants during this pregnancy (unless you choose to, of course). There are so many option these days when it comes to maternity denim. So here they are, in order of extreme fashion to comfortable designer influences.
Anlo launched the skinniest maternity skinny jeans we’ve yet to see this fall–for all those moms-to-be who can think beyond the nesting phase and remain fashionable all nine months:
Anlo Maternity Jamie Skinny Jeans, $202.
If you’re looking to hit the skinny trend, but go so bondage, perhaps the Paige Denim Blue Heights Skinny Maternity Jeans, $194, are your best best. We’d actually call them more of a straight leg–perfect with a tunic-length or oversized top. Have a few (hundred) of those?
Really loving the party in the back, business in the front aspect of the Chip and Pepper Mamacita, $97. There’s nothing less attractive than seeing the black Spandex/Lycra blend of maternity-jeans waistband and you bend over to pick something up–er, besides actual body parts, that is. Scratch that. The black band isn’t so bad compared to the alternative.
The all-around comfort of the bootleg paper denim & cloth Bridgette, $102, will make easy work of weekend errands and movies. The live-in factor will also be a boon post-baby, when you discover that it takes a little while before you’re sliding into your non-maternity denim (surprise!).
