imageWhat: Moby Wrap Baby Carrier

Why: It may take a little practice—OK, it may take a lot of practice, including some face time in front of a mirror, but once you master the Moby Wrap, it will feel like second skin.  And although it may look complicated, it’s basically one long piece of fabric you wrap around yourself and your baby.

I use it with my three-month old and it really does a nice job soothing her when she’s unhappy.  I love how close she feels to me, how I can position her several different ways, and now that it’s summer, I love how I can tuck her legs behind the fabric to protect her from the sun.

It’s also versatile—you can wear baby facing in, out, sideways or on your back, and you can even use it to carry twins.  Choose from a variety of solid colors, batik prints, and even wraps providing UV protection.

Price: $40 – $70
