We’re looking to Black Friday with that tingly sensation that comes only from big deals and awful crowds. We can’t wait . . . and we’re totally dreading it. So we here at MomFinds decided to map out our route this year with a look at some of the hot toys from every kid’s (and not exactly grown-up grown up’s) favorite place.

Did you guess Toys R Usicon? We confess we’ll always be Toys R Us kids – and now that we have kids, well, that’s the best excuse in the world to indulge, right? We got hold of some of the toys on their hot list this year and picked the ones we think are really worth it:

Crayola Beginnings Color Me a Song

Crayola Beginnings Color Me a Songicon ($24.99): Life is a song, and they color yours – so put it all together, and what do you get? The faster little hands scribble, the faster the songs will play out with banjos, drums and some sassy salsa. When they’re done, wash it all off and let them start over. Easy to carry for in the car (think the trip to Granny’s for holiday dinner), it will last longer than a coloring book.

Toy Story Interactive Buddies Talking Action Figure by Thinkway

Toy Story Interactive Buddies Talking Action Figure by Thinkwayicon ($99.99): They went to infinity and beyond when they were making Woody and Buzz for the holidays. Programmed with more than 100 sayings straight out of the movies so they can fight just like the old married couple they seem to be on the screen, they’re best pals through thick and thin. And they’ll soon be your tot’s best friends for bedtime, playtime and in the car too. Action figures have come a long way since we were kids – might we say lightyears?

Woody the Sheriff Talking Figure With HolsterBuzz Lightyear Talking Action Figure

Woody the Sheriff Talking Figure With Holstericon and Buzz Lightyear Talking Action Figureicon by Thinkway ($49.99 each): We love the interactive set, don’t get us wrong, but the special Toy Story Collection Woody and Buzz dolls are packed in boxes inspired by the movies, and each comes with a certificate of authenticity. Coming closer to the film versions than any toy before them, we’re tempted to buy them for ourselves (what did we say about being grown up?).

Original Tickle Me Elmo

Original Tickle Me Elmo by Fisher-Priceicon ($29.99): We might just be having flashbacks, but we’ve heard this will be a big seller this holiday. With this infectious laugh, we’re willing to buy it (literally). Expect monster laughs – Elmo Monster that is.

Text and Learn by Leapfrog

Text and Learn by Leapfrogicon ($16.99): They see our thumbs at work all day, and they’ve been aching for a go at the Blackberry. Protect your phone from jam hands and give them an early jump on reading.
