Why: While there is nothing cuter than my baby sleeping, nearly six months after his arrival, it was high time for him to get his own space. Since his birth, he had been sleeping in a bassinette in our room, and needless to say, no one was sleeping very well. But when we tried to transition him to his crib, that didn’t go so well. He craved the small, cozy environment of his bassinette, and was overwhelmed by vast space in his crib. He protested vehemently, waking his brother in the process. Again, no one was getting sleep.
We tried Crib Cozies from Engage Environments, and voila! All of a sudden, baby was sleeping like (ahem) a baby. Each set includes two wedges and two cylinders that are covered with very soft, plush slipcovers, that are easily removed for laundering. The set transforms the crib into a serene, comfy sleep environment that is safe for baby and void of stimulating colors or patterns. Better yet, these have a life after the crib, as they can be used for pretend play and props long after baby outgrows them.
