Good news for pregnant women who like to look hip without emptying their wallets: Moody Mamas, the two-year-old line of upscale maternity threads is now available at your local Tar-jay. Moody Mamas Target capsule collection is very similar to the designers’ main line: Think trendy cocktail dresses, great work staples and pretty nursing/loungewear for post baby—the major difference is nothing’s over $60 here. Some highlights from the collection:
Ladies, don’t you just love a ruffled tunic top? This one ($34.99), with its easy empire waist, would be equally nice with black pants at the office as with jeans or leggings on the weekend.
The two-tone maternity dress ($39.99) is a little more edgy but looks super-comfortable and—genius!—gives you the look of a blouse and skirt without the discomfort of one (I don’t know about you, but I missed skirts when I was pregnant. There just weren’t enough styles that made sense for my growing belly).
Planning to do the holiday party circuit? You’ll need a silky frock like this V-neck one ($59.99). Pair it with heels if you dare.
So far, Project Runway alumnus Christian Siriano’s Fierce Mamas for Moody Mamas (glam mommy of four, Heidi Klum, is a fan) collection is not available at Target. Bummer.
