Two Flavorful Lip Balms Under $5 Worth Trying

These lip balms bring me back to simpler days when I would walk with friends to the drug store and spend my allowance on lip balm, blue eye shadow and magazines.  And the price?  Practically the same as the good old days.

Palmer’s Dark Chocolate & Cherry Lip Butter ($2.40): This lip butter is made with cocoa butter and vitamin E.  It smells very chocolaty gives me a good mood for a few minutes after I put it on.


Pin Up Lip Balm ($4): These treats come in a cute tin with a sliding lid. Unlike the tins of our youth, the Pin Up Balm isn’t goopy.  It’s smooth with a subtle sheen from the beeswax it’s made with. It comes in eight flavors, my favorite is lemonade.
