Why: Getting ready for some holiday entertaining? Here’s an easy way to clean those bare floors (and low pile rugs) in a snap. Bissell’s new Versus Bare Floor Vacuum Cleaner is a lightweight, bagless vacuum that is so easy to maneuver that my four-year old can use it.
It has a unique V-shaped foot that directs debris into the center suction path, which means you only have to make one pass for it to suck all that dirt up. The V-shape also makes it easy to get around bulky furniture you don’t have time to move.
It’s a powerful little sucker—12 amps of power—and it’s a refreshing change to those other cleaners I’ve used that simply push the dirt around. My one complaint? I just wish the cord was a little longer.
