What: Malem Ultimate Bedwetting Alarm
Why: After being teased at a sleepover by his younger cousin our son really wanted to ditch the Pull-Ups at night. But we had a lot of trouble. So we tried the Malem Ultimate Bedwetting Alarm. It is a small device that you attach to their PJs, and an alarm beeps and vibrates when it senses moisture, waking you and your child so he or she can go to the bathroom.
The first time it went off was a bit shocking, but within a week we were making it through dry. We bought the Malem Starter Kit that included a book and two waterproof pads. We love the 35” x 35” pads (also available larger). It is so much easier in the middle of the night to switch out the pad than change the whole bed.
Although nighttime accidents our rare for us now, we use a pad when our son is sick and take one along when traveling, just in case.
Price: $89.95 – $99.95 alarms, $119.95 starter kit
