Neither of my daughters wanted anything to do with the whole toddler potty thing. They preferred hoisting themselves up on the family toilet with a seat trainer. Who knows, maybe the Babywunder Deluxe Clear Potty ($21) at the EC store might have done the trick for them. I’m just not sure I love the idea of seeing everything.
I have no problem with the design, a single piece of plastic with a splash guard and handle. The site also brings up a valid point: you know right away what’s going on, so you can give them the appropriate encouragement or feedback. That could shorten the whole hanging out by the potty thing.
On the other hand, my nightmare would be unexpected company right at or after the big moment. EC already has an answer to that one, cute totes and covers ($8).
