What: Abe Jones Clothes for Children
Why: With all the clothes out there for kids, it’s always a pleasure to find a new line that’s fresh and modern. Abe Jones, the brainchild of California Bay-Area artists Janel Jones and Amy Abrahamson-Perl, was created for ‘hip new moms and dads’ looking for cool clothes that stand out from the rest of the pack. Their collection of tees (an instant classic) features original designs with a vintage feel–picture guitars, chicks and a Mustang muscle car on a clean white canvas. They’ve been so successful with the line that they’ve ventured out to design a new collection for Fall ’06, including trendy tunics and dresses for girls and groovy cowboy shirts for boys. Sorry, they don’t come in adult sizes.
